Description of Accident: A head-on collision near Hardeeville, S.C. between a Nissan and a Mercury resulted in the deaths of a 32-year-old woman from Ridgeland, South Carolina and a 31-year-old from Fernandina Beach, Florida. The incident occurred at 10:52 a.m. on U.S. Highway 17, four miles south of Hardeeville. The Mercury was traveling South and veered across the center line and hit the North-bound Nissan, according to SCHP Master Trooper Brandon Bolt.
