Description of Accident: A fatal accident near Conway resulted in the passing of a 74-year-old from Aynor, S.C. The fatal crash occurred on Highway 701 when a 1999 Chevrolet pickup truck traveling south crossed the center line, leading to a head-on collision with the victim’s 1988 Dodge pickup truck, which was traveling north at the time of the accident. The Chevrolet was operated by a 15-year-old driver, who was subsequently taken to the hospital for medical attention. The accident prompted responses from Horry County Fire Rescue, Horry County Police Department, and Horry County Sheriff’s Office.
