Description of Accident: Three high school students lost their lives in a crash on Friday. The victims include an 18-year-old from Chesnee, who was the front seat passenger, a 17-year-old from Cowpens in the rear driver-side, and a 15-year-old from Cowpens in the rear passenger seat. The incident occurred just past 3:30 p.m. on Fairfield Road, three miles west of Chesnee, when the Lexus sedan they were riding in veered off the road, striking a ditch and several trees. The driver’s name and condition remain undisclosed; they were transported to the hospital.
