Description of Accident: A 33-year-old man from Moncks Corner tragically lost his life after being hit by a 2019 Chevrolet SUV on College Park Road while riding his bike. The collision occurred on October 11 around 8:49 p.m. The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that the man was attempting to turn onto a private drive when the SUV, traveling in the opposite direction, struck him. The SUV’s driver and two passengers were taken to a local hospital. The incident is currently being investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the SCHP.
