Description of Accident: A man lost his life in an accident at Love’s Travel Center on Priester Road in Blacksburg, South Carolina. The incident occurred when he was working on his vehicle in the parking lot. According to the Cherokee County Coroner’s Office, the victim was a 29-year-old from Florida. He was on a six-foot step ladder, working under the hood of his pickup truck when a semitruck entered the parking lot and collided with him, causing him to be pinned between the semi-truck and his vehicle. Despite resuscitation attempts by first responders, the victim was pronounced dead on-site.
