Description of Accident: Over the weekend, a fatal collision occurred in Oconee County, South Carolina, involving a car and a pickup truck. The incident took place around 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. A 54-year-old female resident of Westminster, driving a 2007 Chevrolet, suffered blunt force injuries and tragically passed away. The collision happened when the Chevrolet, heading north on Stribling Road, turned onto Richland Road and collided with a 1997 Dodge pickup truck traveling east. The Chevrolet driver was taken to a hospital but succumbed to her injuries around 5 p.m. The passenger’s condition remains undisclosed. The Highway Patrol is actively investigating the incident.
