Description of Accident: At 2:52 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office was alerted to a fatal accident on I-26 westbound near Exit 203. A 41-year-old Summerville woman, a passenger in the wreck, was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is under investigation by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol.
