Description of Accident: On Monday afternoon, a 2023 Western Star tractor-trailer was traveling south on Highway 25 when it collided with a 2007 Honda Civic traveling north. The occupants of the Civic were fleeing from law enforcement. The Honda attempted to pass another vehicle by veering off the right side of the road then reentered the roadway, crossing the center line and striking the tractor-trailer head-on. The driver of the tractor-trailer was transported to a local hospital, while both the driver and passenger of the Honda died at the scene.
