Joye Law Firm Takes on Child Cancer in Injury Board’s Gift of Hope Program

Joye Law Firm is honored to team up with Case Status, a North Charleston-based legal technology company, to participate in the Injury Board’s Gift of Hope program. Joye and Case Status launched a “Month of Action” dedicated to raising money for the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center Pediatric Oncology Clinic.

We’re calling on the community to join us in raising critical funds to provide life-saving care for children facing cancer. Donations are being accepted through December, and contributions can be made online at https://www.casestatus.com/l-p/day-of-action-2024.

The MUSC Hollings Cancer Center treats over 100 new pediatric cancer patients each year, representing more than a third of South Carolina’s pediatric cancer cases. Every newly diagnosed patient is evaluated for clinical research trials, offering many children their best opportunity for advanced care. Hollings collaborates globally through the MUSC Children’s Oncology Group, a network of over 200 hospitals and 5,000 professionals dedicated to pioneering cancer treatments.

Providing cutting-edge therapies and clinical trials is expensive, costing over $200,000 annually. NIH funding covers less than 1% of these expenses. Insurance companies also exclude research costs, making philanthropy essential for bridging the funding gap and sustaining life-saving care.

Through our partnership with MUSC Hollings Cancer Center Pediatric Oncology Clinic trials, we aim to drive transformative progress in cancer care. Together, we’re working to create brighter futures and improve outcomes for children facing cancer in our community.

The Injury Board is a prestigious network of experienced plaintiff trial attorneys across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and the Caribbean. Its members are dedicated to protecting consumer rights and championing the civil justice system.

At Joye Law Firm, we’re proud to join forces with the Injury Board, Case Status, and MUSC Hollings Cancer Center to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families this holiday season.
