Description of Accident: A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred Friday at the intersection of Smyrna Road and Wildwood Lane just north of Elgin. A Toyota sedan was traveling north on Smyrna Road when it was struck by a Nissan sedan heading west on Wildwood Lane. The driver of the Toyota, a 26-year-old woman, sustained critical injuries and later succumbed to them. The driver of the Nissan was transported to a hospital, though their condition remains unknown.
