Description of Accident: Two people have died following a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) accident that occurred Saturday night on Gunters Island Road, just outside of Aynor in Horry County. A Can-Am UTV was traveling along the rural road when it veered off course and struck a ditch. Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt, and both were ejected from the vehicle upon impact. A 49-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while her husband, 56, was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
