Charleston Food & Wine Festival
This 5-day event includes demonstrations, classes, dinners, tastings, culinary traditions, all while raising funds for charities and scholarships. The Artisan Market is a one-stop sample and shop marketplace that offers a stunning array of local and regional artisanal brands, all available for you to take home. The Third Space features award-winning chefs hosting 70+ demos throughout the weekend. This interactive space will also be the spot for some recreational activities! There are many other areas to sit and sip, experience top restaurant’s creations, snack on delicious foods, grab a complimentary beer glass, and enjoy live music.

Tyler’s Hope Challenge Putt-Putt Challenge
Tyler’s Hope for a Dystonia Cure is bringing the fight against dystonia to Charleston, South Carolina. Join the first annual Putt-Putt Challenge at the Charleston Fun Park. This event will include live music, food, beverages for all ages, raffles, and dystonia speakers giving updates on research and answering questions. All funds raised will go directly back to dystonia research

Where the Wild Things Run 5K
The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission hosts its annual Where the Wild Things Run, a 5K Run and Walk on Saturday, March 4th. This event takes place through the trails of the beloved Caw Caw Interpretive Center, which is known for its wildlife Runners and walkers will be rewarded with beautiful vistas and hopefully a sighting of a “wild thing” or two. Light food and beverages will be held following the race.

Teddy Bear Picnic
“Here, There and Everywhere with Parker Bear” is a children’s book written by the Conservancies’ Volunteer Park Angels and photographed by Charleston photographer Libby Williams. The eighth Teddy Bear Picnic is hosted by the Charleston Parks Conservancy and will have a special guest this year: Parker Bear! Enjoy kid-friendly musical entertainment, puppets and hip hop dancing. Dress your bear in his best outfit in the bear fashion show. Plus, other activities include face painting, seed planting, cookie decorating, crafts and hula hooping. The afternoon wraps up with a teddy bear parade.
Families are invited to bring a picnic lunch, blankets and chairs to enjoy an afternoon in the park. Food trucks will have food available for purchase.

St. Paddy’s Pawlooza
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day a little early this year at Wannamaker County Park on March 11th, at the 3rd annual St. Paddy’s Pawlooza. This dog-friendly special event will give people and their pets the chance to celebrate together in the park. Attendees will enjoy live music, beverages and food. The Michael Martin Band will perform live in the large dog park area, where pups can run around off leash. Then venture to the adjacent meadow area for beer and food trucks.
