Upper SC State Fair is happening at Upper South Carolina State Fairgrounds Easley. It’s a premier event in Consumer Fairs and Carnivals industry. Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival
The Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the moon festival, is one of the most important holidays in Chinese culture. In fact, after the Chinese New Year, the Mid-Autumn festival is the most important holiday in the country of China. The festival is a celebration of the autumn harvest and occurs during the full moon.
If you are interested in learning a little bit about Chinese culture and the Chinese Mid-Autumn moon festival, you can attend the celebration at Wofford College for moon cake, Chinese food, fruit, crafts, and games.

Melting Pot Music Festival
The Melting Pot Music Festival is one of the premier music events in South Carolina of the year. Described as a multi-genre and arts festival, this year’s festival will have more than 15 live, on-stage performances; dancers; a fire show; a petting zoo; a market complete with vendors and artists; a craft beer garden; food trucks; a kids’ zone; and much, much more.
The full list of performing artists can be found on the Melting Pot Festival website. One thing is for sure, though – if you love music, you cannot miss this festival. Not only is it one day full of some of the best music in the state, but it also the perfect opportunity to hang out with friends, eat some great food, try a craft beer, and check out local vendors. Fall Into the River Music and Arts Festival
The Fall into the River Music and Arts Festival, hosted by the Saluda River Yacht Club, will be held the last week of September, 2016. The event is an exciting opportunity to enjoy live local music, live art, attend a yoga workshop, and browse the wares of local vendors.
The event is kid friendly – in fact, there will even be kids’ arts and crafts and bounce house! Musical talent for the event includes: Four 14, Darby Wilcox, Soul Ripples, Wombo Combo, and Soul Service. Food and beverage for the event will be provided by Thomas Creek Brewery.
