The HI-LO Duo–John Goodwin and Mike Hall

The Hi-Lo Duo, John Goodwin on sax and flute and Mike Hall on the bass, will play their soothing tunes of classic and Latin, as well as smooth and funky jazz, at the Trinity Presbyterian Church on July 10 this summer. Some of their songs include “On Green Dolphin Street,” “Over the Rainbow,” “Autumn Leaves,” and “Mr. Magic.” If you have not heard of this duo before, they have a very organic sound and do not use any backing tracks, just notes that come straight from the instruments. This performance is part of the Trinity Presbyterian Church’s “Arts at the Church” series, which is featured on select Sundays at 3 p.m., west of Surfside Beach. Bring your dancing shoes!
