2017 Myrtle Beach Marathon
Participate in Myrtle Beach Marathon as they celebrate the 20th year on March 2-4, 2017! Starting out near Broadway at the Beach, taking a quick turn into The Market Common area, and meeting the crowds at the finish line in the parking lot of Ticketreturn.com Field – home of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. Choose between the opinions of a half marathon or full. Because the race takes place in the offseason – away from the peak summer vacation months – there are plenty of ways to find deals on accommodations in Myrtle Beach.

Dr. Seuss Day at Brookgreen Gardens
Enjoy Dr. Seuss’s Birthday celebration in the Brookgreen Gardens on March 4th. Dress up like your favorite Dr. Seuss character and take part in the fun activities planned for the day in conjunction with “Read Across America Day”. Brookgreen host “Reading Day” by inviting families to come together to enjoy a read aloud of books. This program is free with garden admission.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival
North Myrtle Beach’s 29th annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade will be help on Main Street, March 11th. Rain or shine, celebrate the Irish and welcome the coming spring. A parade begins the day at 9am, followed by two stages of live music, rides, amusements, crafts, services, information, products, and a variety of treats.
