Details: The Charleston Carifest is a colorful Caribbean Carnival that celebrates Caribbean American Heritage Month. This year’s event will highlight the people and culture of the Bahamas. Enjoy a parade, live music, performances, cultural demonstrations, a kiddie zone and delicious foods and fun from across the Caribbean right here in Charleston!

Fourth of July at Patriots Point

When: July 4th

Where: Patriots Point, Mt. Pleasant

Details: The Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum will host their annual Fourth of July Fireworks Blast.  Locals know this annual celebration is the Lowcountry’s premiere Fourth of July fireworks show.  Whether you’re aboard the U.S.S. Yorktown or tailgating in the parking lot, you’re in for a great show. Fireworks are expected to begin around 9:20pm.

 

Columbia

Fourth of July Celebration on Lake Murray

When: July 1st

Where: Lake Murray

Details: Celebrate America’s birthday on Lake Murray! Activities will begin at noon with the annual Patriotic Boat Parade starting from Bomb Island. Check out boats decked out in this year’s theme of “Red, White, Blue and You.”  Later on, anchor your boat and watch the annual fireworks show set to begin between 9:15-9:30pm from Spence and Dreher Islands.

 

Summerville

Fourth of July Festival at Cane Bay

When: July 1st

Where: Cane Bay Family YMCA

Details: Watch the fireworks while enjoying delicious ice cream treats from Holy Rolly food truck (a Joye Law Firm team favorite) at Cane Bay this Saturday.  The event begins at 3pm and caps off with a fireworks show just after dark.  Certainly a tasty way to celebrate the Fourth of July!

 

Myrtle Beach

Annual Murrells Inlet July Fourth Boat Parade

Where: Murrell Inlet Marshwalk

Details: The 40th annual Murrells Inlet July Fourth Boat Parade will be held July 4th starting at 6pm. Boats decorated in the theme of “Made in the USA” will follow the parade route from Garden City Beach through Murrell Inlet. Some of the best watching spots are along the Murrell Inlet Marshwalk, Belin Methodist Church, and Morse Park Landing.

 

Clinton

Town Rhythms of Clinton
