At Joye Law Firm, we believe in the power of community and the spirit of giving back. Recently, our Charleston office took part in a meaningful initiative by contributing to the food drive at Matilda Dunston Elementary. Contributions will provide support to Communities In Schools SC students and families throughout the holiday school break.
Communities In Schools (CIS) is dedicated to creating access to educational support and critical resources that go beyond the classroom. These resources encompass vital aspects such as food, housing, healthcare, and counseling. By providing these wraparound services, CIS ensures that students have the necessary support to overcome challenges and thrive academically. Their team of 47 site coordinators reaches more than 25,500 students at 41 school sites across South Carolina. We’re proud to collaborate with them in their mission.
