Joye Law Firm proudly sponsors the 2023 Troop Appreciation Foundation Annual Fishing Derby, an event dedicated to honoring and showing appreciation for our brave soldiers. Founded in 2012, the Troop Appreciation Foundation has been committed to supporting our troops and providing them with unforgettable experiences. Through various initiatives, the foundation has taken over 700 soldiers on guided fishing trips, facilitated travel arrangements for 75 soldiers, sailors, and airmen to be with their families during Christmas, and generously gave $85,000 in gifts and prizes to soldiers.

On June 22nd, Lake Murray will be the host of the annual Fishing Derby, where 50-60 Wounded Warriors from all branches of the military will gather for a day of guided striped bass fishing on the picturesque Lake Murray—led by 20 skilled local fishermen who have volunteered their time and expertise to take the soldiers out on the water, guiding them in the pursuit of the perfect catch.
