Joye Law Firm is honored to again be a sponsor of the Holy Smokes Lowcountry Barbecue Festival, taking place on November 11th, 2023, from 11 AM to 4 PM at Riverfront Park in North Charleston. This festival promises a mouthwatering experience with an all-you-can-eat BBQ from over 50 pitmasters and chefs, accompanied by an array of beer, wine, and cocktails flowing all day long. In addition to indulging in delicious barbecue, festival-goers can groove to live music by Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country and Lilly Hiatt. Holy Smokes has raised over $200,000 for its beneficiaries, Hogs for the Cause and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston. Hogs for the Cause provides support to families battling pediatric brain cancer, and Ronald McDonald House Charities offers a comforting “home-away-from-home” for families during medical treatment. This year, the festival also pledges to support Friends of Fisher House Charleston, serving veterans and their families receiving medical attention at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center.
