Description of Accident: A 57-year-old man from Kingstree was fatally struck by a vehicle on Thursday evening while walking along Broad Swamp Road. The incident occurred around 8:30 PM when the man walking northbound, was hit by a 2011 Ford SUV traveling in the same direction. Authorities pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was unharmed.
