Description of Accident: An 89-year-old woman has died from injuries sustained in a car crash that occurred on Sunday on U.S. 378. The accident happened when a 2023 Toyota SUV was traveling north on Boots Branch Road. As the driver reached the intersection with U.S. 378, her vehicle was struck by a 2020 Lexus SUV that was heading west. The woman was transported to a local hospital immediately following the crash. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries days later.
