Description of Accident: A fatal head-on collision occurred in Berkeley County on U.S. Highway 52, approximately one mile north of Bonneau. The incident happened when a Toyota SUV, traveling west, was struck head-on by a Toyota pickup truck heading east. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported the drivers of both vehicles and a passenger from the SUV to a local hospital. Sadly, the passenger, a 28-year-old woman, succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision.
