Description of Accident: A 76-year-old Charleston woman lost her life following a car accident in West Ashley. The crash occurred on Friday afternoon at the intersection of Sam Rittenberg Boulevard and Dupont Road. The woman was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) for treatment but succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday morning, four days after the collision.
