Description of Accident: A fatal collision involving a motorcycle and a car occurred at the intersection of Martin Luther King and Parkersville roads on Sunday. The 1999 Honda motorcycle was traveling east on Martin Luther King Road and attempted to turn left onto Parkersville Road when it was struck by a 2021 Kia sedan traveling west on Martin Luther King Road. The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to their injuries. The victim has been identified as a 53-year-old individual from Pawleys Island by Georgetown County Coroner.
