Description of Accident: The Highway Patrol has reported that a crash that occurred just before 5 am in Kershaw County on Highway 521 near Knotty Pine Drive has claimed two lives, including the driver and passenger of the vehicle. Another passenger of the 2002 Toyota Camry was taken to the hospital. Reports indicate the vehicle was headed north on Highway 521 when the driver left the roadway and struck several trees.
