Description of Accident: A deadly collision occurred at the intersection of North Goose Creek Boulevard and Colonial Drive around 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. A 56-year-old bicyclist was struck while attempting to cross N. Goose Creek Blvd. and later succumbed to injuries at an area hospital. The driver of the vehicle was arrested at the scene for driving under the influence. Goose Creek PD is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
