Description of Accident: A 60-year-old Hollywood woman, identified by the Charleston County Coroner’s Office, tragically died in a collision on Sunday morning near Highway 174. The incident occurred around 7:40 a.m., and the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The head-on collision near Moffett Road also caused injuries to four other individuals, but they are not considered life-threatening. According to Charleston County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Andrew Knapp, investigators suspect that a Chevrolet sedan traveling on Highway 174 crossed into oncoming traffic, colliding with the Ford sedan driven by Gibbs.
