Description of Accident: A 32-year-old pedestrian from Lexington lost her life after being struck by a Chevy Trailblazer. The collision occurred around 7:50 a.m., in the 1800 block of Jim Spence Road. The victim was walking westbound when the eastbound vehicle collided with her. She succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are conducting a thorough investigation into the crash.
