Description of Accident: A 71-year-old pedestrian from Clinton tragically succumbed to injuries after he was struck by a vehicle. The incident occurred on Saturday at the intersection of West Main and North Bell streets in Clinton. Following the collision, the pedestrian was airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he passed away just after 8:10 p.m. The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation.
