Description of Accident: An 87-year-old Columbia woman lost her life in a single-vehicle crash near Gaston, S.C. She was driving a 2018 Toyota SUV on Sandy Run Road near Pine Plain Road when she ran of the road, hitting a ditch and trees. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. The victim was was transported to Prisma Health Richland, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
