Description of Accident: An 18-wheeler crash on S.C. 215 also known as Monticello Road, killed both the driver of the truck and its passenger on Friday night. The crash occurred at about 4:15 pm on Friday a quarter of a mile South of Monticello in Fairfield County, S.C. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the 2010 Peterbilt ran off the right side of the road and the driver lost control, hitting a ditch, and overturning. The driver was a 52-year-old resident of Swansea and the passenger was a 44-year-old Columbia resident, both victims died at the scene.
