Description of Accident: An 83-year-old resident of Taylors lost their life in a fatal crash on Fairview Road at Dolerite Drive, near Greer. The incident occurred at 3:15 p.m. when the victim’s southbound pickup truck veered off, striking a stopped SUV at the intersection before hitting a tree. Despite being rushed to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, the victim succumbed to injuries just after 4 p.m. No other injuries were reported.
