Description of Accident: An 87-year-old Winnsboro resident died in a head-on collision in Fairfield County, South Carolina. The crash occurred when a Lincoln SUV crossed the center line and collided with a Volvo sedan near the intersection of Rock Bridge Road and Rattlesnake Road. The victim, a passenger in the Volvo, succumbed to her injuries at Prisma Health Richland hospital. Both drivers sustained injuries and were transported to local hospitals.
