Description of Accident: A 35-year-old motorcyclist from Simpsonville passed away on Saturday due to injuries sustained on Thursday. According to the Anderson County Coroner’s Office, the individual was riding on Highway 247 near Belton when a collision with a deer occurred. While attempting to exit the roadway the victim was struck by another car. Immediate care was provided at the scene, and he was transported to Prisma Health Trauma Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
