Description of Accident: A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 85 in Anderson County was reported by the Powdersville Fire Department around 8 am on Monday. The crash occurred in the southbound lanes under the Exit 40 bridge and involved three vehicles. The crash resulted in one vehicle rolling over multiple times. Another vehicle, a box truck, was reported to have had a person inside the storage area at the time of the crash. Two individuals were hospitalized, one in critical condition as a “Level 1 Trauma Alert.”
