Description of Accident:
A Piedmont man lost his life in an auto accident on January 29, 2022, around 5:20 pm. According to authorities, the driver’s vehicle exited the right side of the Interstate. In an attempt to get back on the road, the driver overcorrected and ended up flipping the vehicle. The driver was injured and transported to the hospital. Sadly, the passenger was ejected from the vehicle and later pronounced dead.
