Description of Accident: A 65-year-old Manning resident was struck by an SUV on South Mill Street near Bozard Street. The driver, who was reportedly unaware of the pedestrian’s presence until impact, immediately reported the accident to the Manning Police Department. Despite prompt response and medical attention, the victim succumbed to the injuries, as confirmed by the Clarendon County Coroner’s Office. The driver involved was unharmed.
