Description of Accident: A tragic incident early Sunday morning claimed the life of a 30-year-old pedestrian on Highway 29 North near the Anderson Jockey Lot. The crash occurred around 2:20 AM when a white Nissan Altima, traveling south on Highway 29, struck the pedestrian walking along the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the collision. The driver of the Nissan Altima was charged with felony DUI.
