Description of Accident: A fatal hit-and-run crash occurred late Sunday night on Belleville Road near Cherry Lane, approximately one mile from Orangeburg. Around 11 PM, a 2014-2017 model white Infiniti Q-50 was traveling south on Belleville Road when it struck a 62-year-old man. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Infiniti fled the scene, and the vehicle was last seen heading south toward Chestnut Street. The crash was officially reported at approximately 8 AM on Monday.
