Description of Accident: A 32-year-old woman was fatally injured in a pedestrian accident Thursday on West Homewood Road. The incident occurred while she was walking eastbound and was struck by an oncoming vehicle. After sustaining traumatic injuries, the woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Sadly, despite medical efforts, she passed away on Monday from her injuries.
