Description of Accident: A fatal collision involving a pickup truck and a train occurred early Tuesday morning, resulting in the death of a 57-year-old man. The driver was traveling west around 4:30 AM when he bypassed the lowered crossing arms despite the signal lights being activated. As he crossed the tracks, his vehicle was struck by a northbound train traveling along the CSX railway toward North Carolina.
