Description of Accident: A 23-year-old SCDOT worker was killed in an accident Tuesday morning. The man was standing on the shoulder of U.S. 15 near Deer Hunt Road, about 12 miles north of St. George, at about 9 AM when he was tragically struck by a tire and wheel that came off a passing 18-wheeler.
