Description of Accident: A tragic two-vehicle crash on U.S. 221 in McCormick County claimed the lives of two people Saturday evening. The collision occurred near Oak Hill Drive, about half a mile south of McCormick. The driver of a 2015 Ford Mustang, heading north, lost control of the vehicle, causing it to collide head-on with a 2008 Chrysler minivan. Two rear passengers in the minivan were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Mustang sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
