Description of Accident: A fatal crash in Lexington claimed the life of a 52-year-old woman on Tuesday morning. The accident occurred at the intersection of Boiling Springs Road and Longview Street. The woman was driving a 2019 Chevy sedan east on Longview Street when her vehicle collided with a 2009 Chevy pickup traveling north on Boiling Springs Road. She was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the pickup truck was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
